The new Headquarters Station was built in 1999-2000 thanks to the generosity of the residents we serve. The Station was opened in July, 2000 and formally dedicated in September, 2000.

The Station is manned with eight Fire Fighter/Paramedics. First response apparatus is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Engine and and Advanced Life Support Ambulance.

All administrative services and Fire Prevention Bureau are included at the new Headquarters Station. To contact any administrative service call 630-894-9080, Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The Districts state of the art 911 Communications Center is located in the lower level.

Station #1


179 S. Bloomingdale Road

Bloomingdale Fire Protection District No. 1, Station 2 was built in 1969 for the Keeneyville Fire Protection District.

In 1972 the Keeneyville Fire Protection District was annexed into the Bloomingdale Fire Protection District. In 1974 an addition was added to the south end of the station.

Station 2 currently manned during the day by a "Jump Company". The Fire Fighters will man an Ambulance or an Engine depending on the nature of the emergency. Off-Duty Fire Fighters respond when addition manpower is needed for an emergency incident.

 

Station #2


6N480 Keeney Road

Bloomingdale Fire Protection District, Station 3 was built in 1993. The Station was manned in 1994.

The Station currently is manned by five Fire Fighter/ Paramedics. An Ambulance and a Advanced Life Support Engine are manned.

An Advanced Life Support Engine is equipped with much of the same medical equipment as an Advanced Life Support Ambulance including a cardiac defibrillator. The Engine Company can start medical treatment on a patient pending the arrival of an Ambulance.
