Plan Review Submittals

​Good news! The Bloomingdale Fire Protection District is now accepting electronic plan review submittals.

The Bloomingdale Fire Protection District provides protection to a large area that encompasses several communities in part or whole. Please review the plan submittal processes below based on the location of the project. Plan reviews that are conducted in-house by the fire district have a normal turnaround time of 5-10 business days from the time the review fee has been paid.

​Bloomingdale
All life safety plans shall be submitted to the Village of Bloomingdale Building Department. A copy will be forwarded to the fire district by the building department for review. 
All fire alarm, sprinkler, wet chem plans can be submitted directly to the Fire Marshal at Bloomingdale Fire District via email ([email protected])

Glendale Heights
All plans shall be submitted to the Glendale Heights Community Development Department. A copy will be forwarded to the fire district by the community development department for review.
Hanover Park
All plans shall be submitted to the Hanover Park Building Department. A copy will be forwarded to the fire district by the building department for review.
Unincorporated DuPage County
All plans for commercial buildings shall be submitted to the DuPage County Building Department. A copy will be forwarded to the fire district by the building department for review.
Residential 13D fire sprinkler system plans can be submitted directly to the Fire Marshal via email ([email protected]). The email must include a completed copy of the plan review submittal form.
