Plan Review Submittals
The Bloomingdale Fire District provides protection to a large geographical area that encompasses several communities in part or whole. Therefore, when searching for code information please click on the link to the proper jurisdiction to locate the codes relevant to your project.

Bloomingdale Fire District will complete plan reviews (see attached Ordinance 2022-343 for schedule of fees) with the exception: based on the complexity of a plan review, plans may be sent out to a 3rd party code consultant for review. Payment for associated fees shall be the responsibility of the submitting party. The Fire District 10% of the consultant fee or $100, whichever is greater, will be charged to the submitting party.

Plans shall be submitted as follows for the jurisdictions we cover:
Bloomingdale: BUILDING PLANS are submitted to the Village of Bloomingdale who will forward a copy to us for review.
FIRE ALARM PLANS, SPRINKLER PLANS, SPECIAL SYSTEM PLANS can be submitted directly to us.

DuPage County: All plans are submitted to the County who in turn will forward a copy to us.
Glendale Heights: Contact the Village of Glendale Heights for permit information and then submit plans to Bloomingdale Fire District

Itasca: All plans submitted to the Village who in turn will forward a copy to us.
